Star circuit of 6 days, 5 nights, 5 days of walking
Discover the beauty of the Andorran mountains! From your quiet hotel in the Ordino valley, you will hike in the most beautiful sites, in unspoiled nature in a sumptuous setting.
With only 10% of its surface area urbanized, the small Andorran state benefits from wild and untouched nature, far from the clichés of shopping avenues and large supermarkets.
Located on the southern slope of the Pyrenean chain, you are sure to find a radiant sun there.
Program :
Day 1 - Welcome.
Welcome drink and briefing around 7:00 p.m. at the hotel for the organization of the stay
Day 2 - The Madriu Valley
We will visit one of the most beautiful valleys in Andorra. Classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it will make us discover the pastoral activity of the small hamlets of shepherds, we will pass near the refuge of Font Verd, an old forge in ruins, before arriving at Estall Serrer for have our meal in a beautiful setting.
Between 500m and 700m of vertical drop.

Day 3 –Ensagent lakes and Pic Alt del Griu 2874m
The route begins in the valley of Cortals d'Encamp, we climb gradually by the paths of summer pastures through clearings surrounded by pines with hooks and multiple peat bogs in a setting of rocky needles and erratic blocks left by ancient glaciers.
We will discover the Estany Moreno, surrounded by pine trees and the lakes of Ensagents, where we will hear and perhaps see some marmots. (647 m drop, +/- 5 hours of walking)
For the bravest, Pic del Griu (2874 m) awaits us! From its summit, a 360º view is offered to us.

Return by the same route or by Collada d'Entinyola and Bosc del Campea.
Day 4 – Sorteny Botanical Natural Park and Estanyó Lake
Day in the Natural Park of Sorteny where we will discover an abundant flora, a botanist's paradise with more than 700 listed species, it is also for the beauty of its landscape.
Pastoral valley, mining, and therefore rich in history, we will discover it over a day. We will go up to the Estanyó lake. On the way back we will switch to the Rialb valley
650m drop.
Walking time: +/- 5 hours
Late afternoon: Balneotherapy at Caldéa (the largest spa center in Europe, optional on estimate.) or Shopping in Andorra la Vielle.

Day 5 – The lakes and Pessons peak
We will visit the largest lake area of the principality. With its 18 lakes and ponds, our loop route will allow us to discover almost all of them! And for the bravest, we will climb to the peak of Pessons at 2860m!
Between 390m and 830m of elevation.

Day 6 –Tristaina lakes and departure to your region
We start the week with the 3 most beautiful lakes in Andorra. The ascent is made by the old mule track from the ski resort of Ordino-Arcalis. You arrive at the meanders of the Coma observed by many marmots, a last little effort to pass a last jump and here you are in the circus, where we will go around the 3 lakes. For the bravest, possibility of climbing to the “Mirador de Tristaina” exceptional view of the 3 lakes. Descend by the same path.

Return to your region after lunch

Routes:
Itineraries are given for information only. They can be modified or changed at any time depending on the level of the participants, atmospheric conditions, snow cover and simply for safety.
Level :
Between 5 and 6 hours of walks (breaks included) for height differences of 400 to 1000 meters depending on the level of the group.
Management :
By a qualified mountain guidenative,knowing the country and its history perfectly.
Accommodation:
5 nights in a 3 star hotel
Dinners and breakfasts:
Breakfast and dinner are taken at the hotel, they are plentiful. These are most often typical Spanish meals, consisting of a starter, a main course (meat or fish + starches + cooked vegetables), and a dessert. In Andorra, drinks (wine, water mineral) are often included in menus, except coffee.
