Andorra on snowshoes
Star circuit of 6 days, 5 nights, 5 days of snowshoeing
The Andorran mountain under its white coat ! With an average altitude of 2000 meters, the small Andorran state enjoys excellent snow cover throughout the winter. Located on the southern slope of the Pyrenean chain, you are sure to find a radiant sun there (except on snowy days !)
You can also relax at CALDEA, the largest spa center in Europe!
Program :
Day 1 Sunday - Welcome.
Welcome drink and briefing around 7:00 p.m. at the hotel for the organization of the stay
Day 2 Monday - The circus and Pessons lakes
One of the most important lacustrine zone of the principality in a magnificent granite circus. You will discover a succession of frozen lakes surrounded by the needles covered with snow that make up the surrounding peaks. A delight !

Day 3 Tuesday - The plateaus of La Rabassa
For this day, complete change of scenery ! You will go to the plateaus of La Rabassa in the south of the country, the decor is softer there and the snowy expanses seem to stretch to infinity, you pass on the Spanish side to admire the Sierra del Cadi

Day 4 Wednesday - The Valley of Incles
You leave for the valley of Incles, following the torrent, from hamlets to sheepfolds, you will head towards the imposing granitic circus of Juclar, the change of scenery is amazing with its torn summits and its torrents.
You then go up to Port d'Incles from where you can admire the frozen lakes of Fontargent.

Day 5 Thursday - L'Estany Moreno
You climb from the cortal d'Encamp to the estany Moreno,
The path takes you through a sparse forest surrounded by magnificent granite needles
A little air of the Canadian Rockies, you immerse yourself in the life of trappers! You will see many animal tracks there.
Positive elevation: 510m

Day 6 Friday - Sorteny Valley (Morning)
Last morning in the Sorteny Nature Reserve. You travel through its wild and snowy valleys, cross frozen torrents to discover the thousand and one secrets of this nature under the watchful eye of your guide.

Routes:
Itineraries are given for information only. They can be modified or changed at any time depending on the level of the participants, atmospheric conditions, snow cover and simply for safety.
Level :
Easy to medium level family hikes on moderate slopes with elevation differences of less than 500mts, we can however adapt the hikes according to the level of the participants
The guide can also modify the program according to snow or weather conditions. (Poor visibility, risk of avalanches)
Management :
By a qualified mountain guide who knows the country and its history perfectly.
Accommodation:
5 nights in a 3 star hotel
Food and water:
Every morning, you take your packed lunch for the day.
For drinks, you have the contents of your water bottle. Remember to fill it every morning before leaving. Otherwise, you can buy mineral water in your accommodations
. Do not drink water from springs or streams, it is unfit for consumption.
Dinners and breakfasts:
Breakfast and dinner are taken at the hotel, they are plentiful. These are most often typical Spanish meals, consisting of a starter, a main course (meat or fish + starches + cooked vegetables), and a dessert. In Andorra, drinks (wine, water mineral) are often included in menus, except coffee.
Number of hikers per stay:
From a group of 12 people (with supplement)
